modius and cornucopiae.

Limes version of RIC 65; Sear 7903.

"limes" is Latin for "'Pathway", a word which came to be used 
to denote a military road along a frontier and in due course 
the official boundary of a part of the Roman Empire.
"Limes" were minted by offical mints on the borders of the 
empire to make up for local shortfalls in currency. 
They were normally minted in bronze due to the shortage of 
silver in these areas due to continuous barbaric invasion 
and unrest that made large shipment of silver unsafe.
