AV K AIL CEPTI-CEOVHPOC PEKTWR above, ILIEWN in exergue, Hector, helmeted and in military dress, standing right in quadriga, holding spear and shield with right arm, left hand extended to hold Victory who crowns him, reins of chariot also cross his left palm and fall behind left forearm, three nearest horses look right but the fourth looks back at Hector, his head only being shown above the backs of the other three. Bellinger T216 (Paris), pl. 10 (same dies). Very rare: possibly only the second specimen known after the one in Paris. Good very fine Estimated Value: $ 4,000 ...Lot was unsold.
