Phoenicia, Tyre. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. Æ 31mm (14.84 gm). Laureate,
draped and cuirassed bust right / Dido standing on prow of galley left,
holding cornucopiae and sceptre; sailor and helmsman flank her. Rouvier

Mionnet V pg. 439, 681. Fine, brown patina, areas of corrosion. 722994 Dido
was the lover of the Trojan, Aeneas.
