emperor standing left, holding standard inscribed 
Chi-Rho, crowned by Victory standing behind him, A in 
left field, .ASIS. in exergue. RIC 286, officina A (= 
1). Complete legend on reverse. Extremely fine 

The reverse legend repeats the motto of Constantine's 
vision of AD 310, "By this sign you will conquer."
