Roman Sol AR Antoninianus of CARACALLA

The obverse of
this piece depicts the radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of
Caracalla right, with legends ANTONINVS.PIVS.AVG.GERM. The
reverse features Sol, radiate, standing front, head left, raising
right hand and holding globe. The legends read
P.M.TR.P.XVIIII.COS.IIII.P.P. Coin shows some very light
granularity, but otherwise grades VF, with clear to bold devices
and legends all around, and a nice portrait. An attractive
example of this scarcer denomination for Caracalla, 
RSC-358.
