ORC8055 Sicily, the first Punic coin, tet, EF

Syracuse, Sicily, AR tetradrachm, (17.33g) contemporary imitation, possibly
of Punic Sicily, c. 450-430 BC, Charioteer driving slow quadriga right,
Nike flying above, crowning horses, dotted border. / SYPA K OSA Head of
Artemis-Arethusa right wearing pearl diadem, four dolphins around.
Boehringer 254 B8 (same dies). EF, with good metal, fresh surfaces, and
attractive light toning, unstruck areas on the driver / top of head and top
dolphin nearly identical to the example in the recent Freeman & Sear
MailBid Sale 7, #34, suggesting the flat areas are "in the dies," either
die wear, or unfinished dies.
