 driving racing quadriga right, holding long kentron in right hand, reins
 in left; Nike flying above placing a wreath on horses / KATANAION,
 laureate head of Apollo right; parsley leaf behind. SNG ANS 1256 (same

 541 (same dies). Lightly toned, nice VF. Choice flan. Rare. ($3000) From

The
 neatly engraved Apollo head is accompanied by a symbol, a leaf of wild
 parsley, a feature which was becoming increasingly common on the Katanian
 coinage subsequent to circa 445 BC.
