Most similar to Jenkins’ didrachm group III, dated to ca 485 BC. 
Akragas issued a few pentalitrai in ca 450, clearly identified by 
the legend PEN. This coin, apparently unpublished, is the earliest known drachm-sized issue of Akragas. 
Parallel issues are found at Syracuse and Gela, which issued their first drachms during the 470’s.
