Ba'al standing left, holding eagle and sceptre / 
Crude helmeted head of Athena right; all in incuse 
punch. Meshorer & Qedar 118. Good VF, dark toning, 
struck from worn obverse die. ($300)

The standing Ba'al type is adopted from the 
staters of Tiribazos struck at Mallos and Issos in 
Cilicia (cf. SNG Levante 148). The obverse and 
reverse are inverted from their order in M&Q.
