Head of Dictynna left, wearing bead necklace and pendant
earring, hair confined in sakkos / Filleted bull head
facing. Svoronos 16, pl. xxvi, 5. Le Rider pl. xxix, 8.

Overstruck on a tetrobol of Argos. Very rare. Some porosity.

According to Strabo, the Dictynnaeum or temple of Dictynna
atop Mt. Tityrus was regarded as the holy site of Cydonia,
but was actually located in the territory of Polyrhenium.
